Thought it might be fun if we try and see who can get from John L to Wlad (picking him as he holds most titles) in the least steps. i.e. Sullivan lost to Corbett who lost to ? etc etc all the way to Wlad.

I was only going by titleholders,....I'm Pretty much on the money there,,,,,,,, I understand your point POET,,..Tunney retiring worried me, but Moore never beat Rocky, Patterson lost to Johannsen then regained it plus, that durn list took me 25 minutes to do. thanks for the debate !!!

I did however use the BY-PASS from Jeffries to Johnson. The main thing that destroys the LINEAL thing is that it cuts off with the retirement of Joe Louis :Rocky beats Joe but does not explain how the Rock got his title,.....as Louis didn't lose his title,,... and no one can deny that Joe was an old fighter at the time Rocky beat him,.... it's a complicated process ain't it !!!!
