An "0" merely means u havent gotten in there with someone who can beat u yet and EVERYBODY can be beat. It looks pretty its good for bragging rights but it dont really mean diick. One thing we as a sport need to learn from The UFC is that an "0" dont mean much and everybody will win, lose and come again if the best continuously face the best. The fans wont care about a record when they are getting top fight after top fight

I made a thread like this on NSB. There is some unbelievable over emphasis on young, undefeated fighters. No one cares that young and undefeated usually means untested. The same way many people also equate young with prime automatically.
Look at the fighters that make up the top 30 or 40 or so fighters of all time. You probably go that deep at least before you would consider listing a fighter that retired undefeated.

I really don't know. I guess considering how much easier it is go fr in yor career with no loss's or very little loss's, some fighters like to reitre having never ever been beaten.
The above said, given that we are not so distant from the era of Leonard, Hagler, Hearns & Duran I think it's reasonable to consider his resume against that backdrop. Where Mayweather stands among such luminaries I don't know.
