Sonny Listons power overrated?

Sonny Liston was maybe 6'1", 215ish pounds, he had a long 84" reach.

Mike Tyson was 5'11", 215 lbs, 71" reach.

So yes, Tyson was nearly the same size as Liston, except for the reach. Liston used his reach to great advantage and employed a ramrod jab...however, he wasnt quick enought to find Tyson often enough with it.

Charles "Sonny" Liston is the second hardest puncher ever, slightly under George Foreman. He could knock you out with one jab! And although the Clay-Liston I bout didn't show it, he had fairly quick hands. How else would he have demolished the eluse, great Floyd Patterson twice in the first round.
