The ability to take a punch is as important to a fighter as speed, smarts, skills, or power. So, JMM gets points taken away when compared to MAB and Morales.

I'm surprised Lopez isn't getting more respect. I got the guy top 5 without a doubt.
His opposition wasn't as stellar as a lot of other guys on the list, but his dominance you can't knock. His technical brilliance and precision are incomparable. To me JMM is a poor man's Lopez, similar style but not on the same level.

My personal ranking
1. JCC
2. Sanchez
3. Olivares
4. Saldivar
5. Canto
6. Zarate
7. Morales
8. Lopez
9. Barrera
10. Palomino
I think Lopez is hard to rank. Because, I do believe he's best most skilled Mexican fighter of all time. So much so that a lot of people are admiring JMM skill set. Yet TBH he was a poor man version of Finito. And, that's no diss to JMM. That's just how good Lopez was. But, his resume really the lack of it. It's what hurts him in my personal ranking.
But, I wouldn't argue if someone has him higher.
I do think the top 3 are untouchable though JMO.
