lots of people are deemed iron chinned.....then they meet george foreman. If its the pre Ali formean i think he can crack vitalis chin. i think George can knock out any heavyweight in history if he lands flush enough times.

It's worth pointing out that he couldn't see out of his left eye and his defense is based highly on his reflexes and getting out of the way rather than technical stuff. His defense isn't great, but that's not really the best example.

I see it differently. He was cut in the first place because he couldnt get out of the way of punches. Rather than being some fluke occurrence, I see the cv as a symptom of Klitschkos hittability.

I just saw the fight the other day and I was watching with an intention of seeing Lewis look good. But Klitschko was avoiding his shots and his defense started getting worse and worse as the cut progressed. Again, he's not some kind of Johnson-esque ghost in the ring, but he's not THAT easy to hit. The cut was caused by one big right hand. Lewis started turning up the volume of right hands as it became more and more evident that Vitali couldn't see them coming. That's just my take on the fight. But I think more highly of Vitali than most of this section does.
