If Lewis had been in the ring with Wlad instead of Haye during that 12th round.....

It was interesting watching Lennox in the post-fight analysis on Sky. You could tell he was itching to get in the ring. He wasn't impressed. With either fighter.

I'm certain he means what he says about retirement. And it was the right time to retire. He's always said that if someone is prepared to stump up $100,000,000 he'll fight either brother. But he must know that no one is likely to invest that kind of money in a Klitschko of any description.

Lewis didn't beat Vitali, the medical doctor did.

Cut stoppages are a part of boxing deal with it. Vitali didn't just a have a cut he had a gaping face vagina in full menstrual mode.

Do me a favor, look at both Vitali and Lewis records, then tell me who has the most late round (rds 9-12) KOs, then tell me who was more likely to have "shot his bolt".

And how many of those KOs are late-round stool quits? Sorry dude, Lennox wasn't going to run up a white flag the way Vitali's usual b1tch opponents do.

I hear you, but its one thing when the fight is stopped after a fighter has cuts because he was dominated, but its another when the fighter who was clearly losing the fight at that point basically lucks out on a win by cuts, you kind of have to put an asterisk on that one.

Not when Lennox had won the last two rounds and was in control of the fight. Sour g****s are for whingers.

How do we know? If Ali could be about to quit the Thrilla in Manilla fight in that last round, then who is say that Lennox wouldn't have either? I honestly wouldn't see Vitali winning like that anyway, I think more likely Lennox starts dropping his hands abit from being tired from the pace of the fight and then getting caught with a big shot in the later rounds (the same way Rahman and McCall did) where Vitali could clearly have put it all on the line since Lewis never proved himself to be dangerous in those rounds.

As stated, Wlad would not have got to round 12 against Lewis.

But, if that right hand was landed by Lennox Lewis then Wlad would still be lying there now.

Myth. Ali was NOT about to quit in Manila.

So you're substituting wishful thinking for evidence? That's what nuthuggers do.
