Marvin hagler vs ray leonard

5-4-3 for Hagler. I find that fight very difficult to judge. I lost all my love for SRL the way he fought. Its was shiesty as hell.

Hagler 6-5-1

I had it 6-5-1 for Leonard. Close enough that if someone had it a point or two the other way it wouldn't be worth quibbling about.....certainly too damn close to be screaming "robbery". Bottom line on the fight: Neither fighter landed anything damaging so it became a contest of who lands the most each round. Hagler just wound up getting outworked. The thing is, if Marvin had upped his workrate just a little he'd have flipped the result on my scorecard.

if you watchi it without the sound hagler lands the more effective damaging shots throughoout the fight.

I haven't seen it for ages but I remember thinking Leonard had sc****d home.

That said, I've always held the su****ion that Sugar Ray's showboating may have struck a nostalgic chord in the hearts of the judges and won it for him.

From what i remember i had it 7-5 in favour of Leonard,could have gone either way though
