U for real? He was clearly suffering from brain injuries early in the fight and took some real bombs from one of the most savage punchers in the history of the SMW division not to mention the heavy shots he shipped against the best p4p puncher ever in most peoples opinion in Julian Jackson

Like i said not THE best but helluva good

He's probably one of those douchebags that makes fun of McClellan's condition. They usually get themselves banned at some point since that **** doesn't play around here.

His body couldn't handle the punishment I don't see how you can say he has a great chin I can think of 20 160/168 guys off the top of my head who have a better chin then McClellan.

Oh and McClellan didn't really take any of Jackson's big punches.

P.S. It is obviously sad what happened to McClellan as a result of that fight boxing is a brutal sport

                  He shipped enough....

And i dont think u can fault his chin because he got brain damage during a fight, part of the game and it could happen to anyone its just one of those things imo

In boxing the term chin is used more as a broad term for punch resistance. And of course its no ones fault that they aren't able to take punches that is something that for the most part is god given

Although he was stopped by Bute (on a bodyshot) I still maintain that Librado Andrade has one of the toughest beards of the modern era. The amount of flush shots he took in combination from a prime Kessler was unreal. His head looked like a speed bag at times.
Nah, Im goin to disagree. The shots he ate from Kessler was impressive, no doubt, but he was dropped by a head shot from Bute and also was hurt and dropped against Yusaf Mack.

I would say that pre-Cotto Margarito had a better chin in terms of modern day fighters.

oh, and yes McClellan did take big shots from Jackson, I particularly remember the right hand landing. from that fight on McClellan was supposedly have headaches, and sparring with heavyweights didnt do him any good either.
McClellan took the punches of two of the hardest punching fighters p4p of the last 30 years. I think its very safe to say his chin was excellent.
