Leonard would be way too much for Pea at 147

            Leonard TKO's him middle-late.

Pea wasn't his best at 147 and that's a huge understatement.

              Pea loses a decision, I can't see how he'd get KO'ed.

I'd bet the farm on Leonard to win ... and wouldn't be at all surprised if he stopped him

Even as a Welter, Whitaker was altogether almost KO-proof, truly.

Still, Leonard was bigger & stronger & faster than not just anyone Whitaker's ever faced, but Whitaker himself. Leonard was also an under-rated puncher, & I think he'd hurt Whitaker, who'd shell-up in response, spoil, hold, & actually find a way to win some rounds --- some. Whitaker was a high-output fighter, despite his defensive prowess, but I just cannot see a way past Leonard's size, speed, strength, & versatility.

I actually rank Whitaker as the better man pound-for-pound, but he would really be up against it here at 147. I'll give Sweet Pea the benefit of the doubt & call this a decision loss, but Sugar Ray could & probably would hurt him at some stage.
