80's was pretty lean times as far as "great" heavyweight fights.

Nothing "lean" about most of the fighters tho...

I think the first time I watched the Dokes fight, it was in between the Qawi and Bowe wars on a Holyfield marathon and it got overshadowed. I watched it just now and yeah, it was a damn good fight.

As far as buildup and anticipation goes it's Holmes Vs Cooney. Quality of fight, I rather like Tucker Vs Douglas.
