    Best decade for great fights?

I'm new to the forums - apologies if this is one of those threads that have been done to death and I mistakenly posted this elsewhere yesterday, but I'd be interested to know which decade the current members like the best in terms of having the most top drawer fights. It would be great if you could illustrate your choice with some examples. Cheers!

Corrales-Castillo I was an all-timer for sure, but it wasn't even the best bout of that decade, let alone ever. Morales-Barrera I & Vazquez-Marquez III were both of an even higher quality.

I was thinking the 2000s aswell. The first Corrales Castillo match and the Gatti Ward trilogy. Plus there was Barrera, Morales and Pacquiao too. Pity about the heavyweight division though.

Barrera-Morales I outstrips Castillo-Corrales. It was fought at a higher level, lasted longer, had equally consistent action. The only thing that Castillo-Corrales has on it is that spectacular ending.

Now I know I'm going to catch some flak for this, but I have to agree with Trojan for his pick. My favorite decade is the 2000's, with Marquez bros, Barrera, Morales, Pacquiao, Roy, etc. There were a lot of superb fights over the last 10 years. It might not be the "best" but it's certainly my favorite.
