no such thing as a KO proof fighter there is always someone out there who can KO you or even in history of fighters no one can ever be knock out proof there is just so much of punishment the human body can take before going down even the most toughest of fighters for e.g. Lamotta , holyfield have been stopped they both had iron chins.

Viruet, he fought (lost to) Duran, Leonard and Curry but none of them were able to stop him.

Yes, i remember the name Viruet but for some reason i thought it was Alfonso Viruet.. Probably because i've never watched him. Was he any good?

I've never seen him fight, when I read it I got confused with his brother Edwin Viruet who I've watched against Duran, I have proper gage of how good he was, he beat Bruce Curry, and his record indicates he was damn tough but not hugely talented, then again I'm just getting this off boxrec.

Thanks for looking, because i'm not too clued up on this guy so i just did the same and i noticed he fought Leonard 7 months prior to stopping Wilfred Benitez, Duran just 3 months after he'd stopped DeJesus and a young Curry who was putting most of his opponents to sleep at the time. Seems like a good call from 1SILVA, as Adolpo Viruet was obviously as tough as a welders work bench. I'm not so familiar with his brother either so i'll look him up aswell when i get the chance.

I bet Young in his prime was very hard to knockout but I wouldnt put it past him for Tyson to stop him who would be kyrptonite to Young, just because Young never had a good enough punch to keep Tyson off. I bet he would still be elusive enough to last at least the later ounds

and maidana is 2 ruff to get koed unless he gets put 2 sleep

Macros Maidana has a great chin.

Naseem Hamed was in his prime when he fought Barrera. It's just his bitter fans who want to take away from Barrera's win. So they claim he was past his prime when he fought Barrera. The truth is Hamed had a padded record and Barrera was not a one-punch knock out artist. If Barrera was. Hamed would have gotten knocked out.

Seriously, enough of that "Naseem Hamed was past his prime when he Marco Antonio Berrara" garbage already.
