Benitez on the cards for me, too slick and squirrely. Pac is a destructive force but the guys he has been crushing have been bigger slower guys standing right in front of him, Benitez will make him miss and make him pay for it enough to take a fairly close points decision. I noticed that when Miguel Cotto got on his bike late it frustrated the hell out of Manny and he didnt look nearly as effective, a good defencive boxer gives Pac problems

Pac's the better fighter but Benitez is a slippery mother****er and Pac would have a lot of trouble trying to get anywhere near him. Benitez wins by UD.

Pac has the edge in most categories, but the gap in defensive prowess is so large it makes no difference. Benitez makes a total fool out of Pac-man. Pac-man will look like hes at his first pro-fight against Benitez. If Benitez Gets caught it could get shaky, but thats one hell of a huge if.

You don't want Pacquiao in there with fellas like Whitaker, Locche, or Benitez. They're all wrong for even his remarkable talents.

          Benitez via clear decision.

I don't think that Benitez had the power to keep Pacquiao off him and he would be outworked and overtaken.

I only had Leonard 3 points ahead of Benitez at the time of the stoppage so if Leonard respected his power (and a few of Benitez's counters made sure of that) to the point that he wasn't overly aggressive, nothing tells me that Pacquaio wouldn't either. Benitez may have been one of the best counter punchers of all time but his power is underrated too, a fighter just couldn't walk in on him without nothing to worry about (ask Leonard, Hope and Duran) and he was naturally bigger as well. In a fight that would be fought at the same pace as the Marquez fights, I'd say Pacquaio has his moments at certain points due to his hand and foot speed, but mainly Benitez utilizes his advantages and out boxes him.

Benitez would take advantage of Pacquaio's aggression and counter him in those moments that hes off balance lunging in (similar to the Marquez fights, only difference is that Benitez wouldn't be there for his return fire and would be less willing to brawl toe to toe).

Too much workrate and accuracy from too many angles

Benitez may be a defensive ATG, but the 147 version of Pac puts too many accurate combos from too many angles, regardless of the opponent's counters. Pac by KO.
