Steve Collins had a good career 2 weight champ and beat 2 legends in benn and eubank twice. He was meant to have fought calzaghe but retired. How would he have done if he fought calzaghe, robin reid, bomer graham, lilles and jones jnr?

He only wanted Jones but Roy wasn't interested. It was also well documented that he was suffering from dizzy spells and had fainted in the gym. It's quite possible that Steve knew he was on the slide, but gave it one last shot at getting a big retirment fund.. He spent about year calling Jones out and stated Roy's refusal to fight him as the reason he quit.
I think Collins would have been on the wrong end of decisions vs Calzaghe and Jones, had even money wars with Reid and Lyles, and may well have been favoured over a 90's version of Graham.
His greatest attribute was his toughness and he was never ko'd or stopped inspite of losing efforts to Mike McCallum, Sambu Kalamby and Reggie Johnson.. As a fighter he was aggressive, well conditioned and relentless but a bit too short on skill-set to be considered as an ATG.

Towards the end Collins was taking alot of punches from fighters that barely deserved to be in the ring with him. He was wise to retire when he did.
