No Eubank has never been a phoney..i was ringside in 1997 at Sheffield Arena when both fought on the same bill, Naz fought Jose Badillo and Eubank fought Joe Calzaghe with both being very good fighters with exciting ring entrances, yet i must say Eubamks entrance to "Simply the Best" is by far the better of the two..Calzaghe sent Eubank spawling onto the canvas towards the end of the opening round with Eubank rising to his feet, tapping his gloves while taking the standing 8 count then wading into Calzaghe for 12 unbelievable rounds of non-stop fighting.. like him or not Chris Eubank was a tough cookie and his 2 fights with Carl Thompson are without a doubt the 2 greatest fights ever fought in Britain over the last 50yrs.

Taking away nothing from Ingle as a trainer but he came across as a vindictive little bastard in that vid and Nicky Piper seemed quite disgusted..
I'm with Piper, Eubank earned his props and could be described as an eccentric or a spiv, but never a phoney. Puts Hamed well and trully in the shade when it comes down to professionalism.

What are you like 80 years old or something?

You also claim to have attended Frank Bruno vs the Great Lennox Lewis. Always at the right place at the right time..

You could be 30 and have been at a fight in 97. Don't troll in my thread.

I have always liked Eubank I was shocked to see what was said, especially for Naz to agree that he was a phony. I had never seen this conference before and I found it very interesting.

The video isnt working for me but i can say for sure Eubank was no phoney! I HATED him back in the day but i love him on hindsight, the wars with Benn, the great fights tho tragic with Watson, Those Collins fights, that Battle with Calzaghe and those classic scraps with Thompson not to mention good wins over quality opposition like Malinga, Thorton, Holmes and Rocchigiani

My favourite Eubank moment tho is his 1st rd KO of that Santos guy before the first Benn fight lol he was such a complete diick u had to admire him!

BTW i dont know if the Naz hate has anything to do with this but didnt Naz and Bank get into it at an airport once? Over an argument about flipping into the ring or something???

Could be wrong but its a vague memory

It's true, Eubank mentions it at the beginning of the vid. Hamed happy slaps him from behind but i don't know whether or not it was caught on camera. Knowing Hamed for the sly little **** that he is, probably not. Eubank said, that to hit him back would have been bullying, "He'sth only five 5 feet 1 or stho"
