Oscar 115-113. Tragic robbery and a huge disappointment. I felt sick to my stomach at the time, Oscar was my favorite and I viewed him as unable to lose at the time. I can still remember the look on Tito's face when they said his name. He was shocked to hear his name, as even he knew he lost the fight.

Oscar 116-112. He gave Tito the business for the first rounds of that fight and the only reason Tito made that little surge at the end was because Oscar let him. I like Tito a lot more, but he got embarrassed that night - not as embarrassed as those judges should be. I wonder what they were feeling as they closed in on the end and saw that Tito was up and they knew they were going to have to give these dumbass cards.

Oscar was so technically superior to Tito that it wasn't even funny. He easily outboxed Tito the entire fight. I wish they would have fought again, there's no way Oscar would have lost.

He did it to himself, though. I mean, those last few rounds were down right shameful and he should never have taken the fight for granted like that. I think he got robbed, but he should have finished the fight (not necessarily a KO, just closed him out). I've wondered what would have happened if it had been the fight that everyone was expecting. Who do you think would have won the shootout?

Both fighters had great power. Oscar had an amazing left hook. Oscar has the edge on chin. In an exchange either fighter could hurt the other but I would bet on Tito going down before Oscar hitting the mat.

Great game plan initially but blame Oscar and his corner for that result. He still should have won, but they were naive as hell. I'm not at all a fan of Tito, but he said it best, he was trying to bring it so don't fault him that the fight didn't live up to whatever potential it had with DLH in retreat mode.

Trinidad deserved the win. If all fighters had the mentality that Hoya had in that fight, boxing would go down the drain.

I do wish that it would have been a draw so they would have fought again.
Personally I think Tito would have Koed him in the rematch.

After all that pressure and those names put on him after the fight,No way Hoya repeats the same mistake in the last rounds, and that would allow Tito to trade.

I think if they fought ten more times Trinidad wouldn't be knocking Oscar out. Oscar had an iron chin. Considering the competition he had, and that he was only stopped on a body shot by the future light heavyweight champion, and by retiring in the corner, having never been off of his feet in a severely weight-drained state...nah, I just don't see it.
