Does Oliver McCall really have a better chin than George Chuvalo? Or Ali? And could you show me a fight where Calzaghe shows the biggest heart ever?

Sonnyboyx also picked Mccall, why dont you ask him?

As for Calzaghe's heart, his ability to win a match after being knocked down in the first is what puts him over the top. Name another fighter who can neutralize the stingy Bernard Hopkins over the course of 12 rounds?

It takes heart, nerve, and tenacity to deal with a cheating basterd like Bernard. Joe is the only man to beat him in 18 years.

        1. I didn't notice Sonny picked McCall.
        2. Sure, Calzaghe's got heart, determination and competitiveness in spades. But did he ever show any kind of bravery like Holyfield in the 10th round of Bowe-Holyfield, or like Gatti in the 9th round of the first Ward fight? I've seen his biggest fights (Hopkins, Jones, Kessler, Lacy), but never the ones where he was up and coming. If he got battered and bruised and stayed on his feet to win it, I'll gladly take it back.
        3. I disagree with you (at first, anyhow, I'll admit it if I'm wrong), but I'm just having a bit of fun. Don't take much I say too personal, even if I'm clowning around a bit.
        4. I actually scored that fight 114-113 for B-hop, so the KD really cost Joe there.

Actually the man in your sig is the only fighter whos better at coming back from a knockdown.

But beyond that, I respect the extreme discipline it takes to go undefeated through 46 fights. Everyone has an off night no matter how skilled they are, but Joe fought through the tough times and gutted his way to victory every bout. He is the greatest 168er of all time.

The Atomic Bull had and still has a Helluva chin, i think he was a good call.

Was actually gonna do a thread on him today, the guy has been on Drugs since he was 13 according to an article i read a few years back and hasnt been 50 days clean since! It told how the night before a title fight Mcall was smoking dope and crack while rotating 6 hookers! He used to pass the drug tests simply by getting someone else to piss for him. He also while in rehab (before the Lewis rematch i THINK) was under the paranoid impression that the government had planted a micro chip or something in his toe!!! Wild Crazy guy

How good could that guy have been???

Also i always hear mixed reviews about his Tyson sparring days, some reports claim he used to beat Mike up, anyone know the truth behind these sparring days?

              Just a few more catagories

Defence - Willy Pep. Honerable mentions to Locche, Mayweather, Sweet Pea and Benitez

Combinations - Joe Louis and Mike Tyson were the most devastating but im gonna say JM Marquez, his combo's flow like water!

Dirty tactics - Greb / Sandler. I read Grebs favourite 1-2 was the the thumb to the eye followed by a thumb to the other eye!

Stamina - Tempting to pick an older fighter here as they did the more rounds but im gonna pick Aaron Pryor, that man had an engine and a half! And he made it work damn hard!

Definitely, he seemed pretty indestructible when he wasn't crying.
