Joe Louis' emotionless look would have me ****-scared.
That cold emotionless look would get me too, Joe had a great poker face that not only intimidated but helped diguise when he was hurt or about to mount an attack. Miguel Cotto has a similar look
1. late 80's Mike tyson
2. George Foreman
3. Roberto duran ( dude was hell on wheels )
4. nigel benn
5. Vargas when he was winning ( even though I think hes a chump now )
6. Sonny liston ( put him lower on the list because after ali whipped him he turned into a ***** )
7. Prince nas ( generally seemed like he wanted to hurt and embarass you )
8. Jack Dempsey ( slayed the giant, was a pro criminal before boxing, lived on trains etc )
9. David tua ( 5'9 powerful samoan with a left hook from hell )
10. Hagler ( he wasn't happy until the job was finished. That job was to beat the **** out of you )

For me Tyson reigns supreme in this class but not too far behind is Sonny Liston.
Other fighters worthy of a mention are Nigel Benn, Bernard Hopkins, James Toney and ...............?
Who u got?
I think Jack Johnson and battling Nelson are two of the most intimidating fighters to ever step in the ring. Johnson frightened everybody, all that Laughing and taunting and that hideous grin of his. Jack was just so huge and sported an amazing physique for any fighter, his size was just so unusual for a fighter of such high class. With Johnson, you knew that if he got on top during the fight, you'd be in for a terrible thrashing,.... you didn't want to lose to HIM !!!... IMO. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nelson, he was pure intimidation, he didn't just scare other boxers, he scared everybody. You didn't just walk up to Bat and try to start a conversation with him,.... oh no you Di'int !!!,... he'd just snarl at people and threaten to rip your head off and poke your eyes out and Skull F*C* you. Battling Nelson was a complete loner, he didn't seem to like people at all. Unless you had business with him, you stayed well clear of the guy. He hated other fighters even more. Anybody going into a fight with Bat, knew they were going to war with a guy who loved to brawl, and he never gave a stuff about rules.......... no fight with this little nightmare would ever be a picnic........ And geezus he was very good and "brilliant" is a word I'd happily call him as well as PURE TOUGHNESS.... Yes, he was very, very intimidating.
