He beat 15-0 Axel Schulz, Tony Tucker, Jeremy Williams, & Orlin Norris. He had 55 & won 50 and was a WBO HW champ. And he was ahead on all cards gainst Oliver McCall before being KO'd in the last.

He also went the Olympic Games and was also 2 time ABA HW champion.

Do he really let himself down against Lennox. But still a solid fighter.

An ordinary fighter, & though it may seem obvious to say that in retrospect, he was never someone whose hype I bought into. There was also a period in his career when I suspected him of sporting loaded gloves.

Akinwande was a difficult guy to fight and even tougher to look good against. The Lewis fight was a travesty though. But a lot of opponents totally fell apart in the ring against Lewis.

I thought he was ok. Nothing more nothing less. Not the kind of fighter u wanted to fight tho i dont think anyone looked good against him. And as far as the Lewis fight goes - he was a disgrace!
