lol @ his rabbit punching being too far. What I always thought was interesting his how easy it would be to do the same to Rocco. He gives the back on his head to everyone, even if he's just punched them in the back of the head, and no one seems to want to hit him. I know it's cheating but how the hell is the ref gonna call rabbit punching on ****ell if Rocky's been doing it the whole fight...his whole career.
Also I've seen some really bad video claiming to be the Vingo fight, but I couldn't tell what was going on. I've always wondered if that was a legel blow or not.
the 1950's sees the last of the fisticuff spirit in Marciano. Men like Rocco Marchegiano care more about being tough then being skilled. He's a bit of a throw back in that sense. I'm sure he cared more about the punch doing damage then being legal.Comment

if you want to see rabbit punching watch Ali vs Wepner. Crazy amount of rabbit punching. First Ali complains, then gets so pissed he pulls wepners head down and hits him 5 times in a row to the neck. I thought it was pretty humorous.Comment

This is true. Holyfield is another who uses his head like a third glove. Michael Spinks used his elbows *******ly. Wilfredo Gomez threw combinations to the groin. Sandy Saddler would probably be thrown out of the ring if he tried some of his tactics nowadays. Very few angels in boxing.Comment

Rocky was a gentleman out of the ring and an animal in it. Read an interview with him after the ****ell fight (his worst imo) when Peter Wilson pulled him up on his tactics and Rocky was shocked to be accused of some of the stuff. When he re-watched the fight he was quite embarassed by his rough stuff. Thing is once the bell went he went into the zone and it was kill or be killed.Comment
