LaMotta is first in my mind without a doubt. But SRR, Frazier, Marciano,Dempsey,JCC aren't too far behind and I've seen hagler do some vicious body work.

      Edit:RJJ also

Hmmm, yeah, thinking back a little more, I guess he could head hunt a bit. Replace him with LaMotta.

His right to the heart/sternum was brilliant too.
Palomino was a great example of a very unique and talented fighter that is often forgotten because the other champions that came right after him.

I dont think he was really the most complete fighter, but he was one of the most durable fighters Ive ever seen and could rip to the body harder than anyone I can think of.

Alexis Arguello is the greatest body puncher of all time.

Micky Ward was a very good body puncher as well.

I think Arguello was among the best in many aspects...

Edward Olmos said it best when he said "Watching Arguello was like watching an artist delicately stroke the canvas with his brush."

In many ways, yes --- though Arguello's victims would call their conqueror's artistry anything but, "delicate."

                      For me it's Carlos Palomino.
