In 1920 Johnson was 42 and hadn't beaten a top heavyweight for about a decade and you've got him beating a prime Dempsey? Can't see that and I'm glad for Johnson's well being that that particular match-up came to nothing.

and even if your wives a whore shes still your wife and mann act charge was pure racism of the day nothing more.
Is it pure racism that Johnson was a patron of whores, operated whore houses and regularly took them across state lines? He was just the type of person a law aimed at preventing inter-state trafficking of **********s had in mind, which is why he was prosecuted.

Two things I didnt know was that Dempsey wouldn't give him a shot around 1920 after he was released from prison for his alleged violation of the Mann Act. The other was that he offered his services to Joe Louis before the first Schmelling fight and was declined then went straight to the papers declaring how Schmelling would defeat Joe Louis. Anyways if you have net flix definitely watch this doc.
Thanks for the info man. I'll definitely look into it.
