What do you think of the boxing sanctioning bodies?

      I agree completely with you on all accounts, and would much rather have same day weigh ins.


      but heres the big problem: The sanctioning bodies are crooks too, that probably make deals under the table with promoters and managers. they dont really give a damn about the sport either. A day before weigh in is just another pointless instance to 'advertise' their belt.

      the only way same day weigh ins start to happen again is if the sanctioning bodies wake up and actually do their job.



      you know the most annoying thing of all to me about sanctioning bodies? if a boxer in their rankings wins a different belt, they eject him from their rankings completely, as if they stopped existing.
      It makes fighting the best in your division even harder than usual. mandotories are 90% of the time a joke nowadays because of it.
