    Who are the best fighters post 1960's never to CHALLAGE for a world title? One of the big four, or the undisputed?

      This one's tricky because of all the sanctioning bodies. When Carlos Maussa is a world champion, it's hard to say that anybody who can't even reach a level where they can fight the likes of him is "best". Prior to the sanctioning bodies, I couldn't say...too obscure for me.

        Kirkland Laing was british and european welterweight champion, plus he also beat roberto duran which won ring's upset of the year but lang never got a world title shot
