    Surely this cant be right

    Let me use the middleweight division as an example..

    If a fighter is known to be of the greatest middleweight fighters of all time because he was able to move up in weights and be succesful? Does that add to his Middleweight supremacy?

    I dont think so.

    What a fighter does in his division earns him the spot of being on the greats of that weight not because he was able to go to light heavyweight etc

    What do yout think?

    Nah that's not right, if you are going to rank a boxer at a certain weight you should only do it at that weight, not any others, imo anyway.

    E.g If you're going to rank Duran at Lightweight his achievements at other weights should not even come into discussion.

    If you are talking p4p then it's a different story though.
