The Trinidad fight is the most skilled, complete destruction you could possibly see Hopkins in, and sure as hell one of the most complete dissections of another fighter I've ever seen.

I completely I agree.. I would say that the basic framework for his Tito game-plan was laid down by DLH

Can you recommend any fights not listed above?

His best performance is the Trinidad fight no doubt. You don't see fights like that no more.

Yeah the Trinidad fight for me aswell. The way he totally shutdown Trinidad's offence and took his power away from him, was incredible.

His counter punching, timing, accuracy, & ring craft was something to behold that night.

Others I like are Tarver, & Pavlik.

Really? I didn't, but then again I an enjoy a tacitcal skillfull fight just as much as a slugfest.

And it dosen't have to be a exciting fight to be skilled a performance. Most of Whitaker's most skilled performances weren't the most exciting, still dosen't hide the fact that skills he shown in them fights were incredible.

It was a skilled performance, no doubt, but he held way too much for my liking

I never liked Pernell, I thought most of his fights were boring as well

Ok fine, but do you realzie that a skilled performance dosen't have to a exciting fight?

Do you agree Whitaker's skills were incredible in fights against the likes of Nelson & Ramirez II, even do they weren't exciting brawls?

The majority of skilled performances are never really exicitng slugfests.

I liked his war with Mayweather. I cant say I really enjoyed any of his other fights against: Oscar, Chavez

I enjoyed most of Toneys fights at mw, smw and cw. They were all highly exciting skilled performances imo

Hopkins has great skill, its just the holding and hitting thing which his been doing over the last couple of years which I find tedious
