    New Mike Tyson interview: Guardian.

As the "baddest man on the planet", Mike Tyson had a ferocious hunger in the ring that was matched only by his appetite for self-destruction out of it. Rape, drugs, violence and bankruptcy were his entourage. But since retiring in 2006, the boxer has discovered a softer side. In this extraordinarily candid interview, he talks about pigeon fancying, veganism and learning to love himself

    I genuinely feel for Mike.

I genuinely feel for Iron Mike as well. Having grown up in East New York, Brooklyn which is now part of Brownsville, I know what he had to deal with as a child. The entire area was a bad place to grow up in and did not give you much hope for the future. Let's hope Iron Mike evolves into a better and more fulfilled person.

Other pro boxers from the area are Rid**** Bowe, Shannon Briggs, Zab Judah, and Danny Jacobs.

I have a limited amount of sympathy to feel... and it's reserved for people like Desiree Washington, not Tyson.

Everyone knows Mike was set-up by that money grabbing b1tch.

@jose palooka - Mike Tyson used to beat up Rid**** Bowe.
