That last thread got me thinking....
I remember on the Tyson dvd, he said before Cus died, he and Jimmy Jacob's we're going to the bank to deposit some money when they got the news that Cus would be dying shortly. He said "I had to deposit some money I got from a fight, a couple hundred thousand dollars."
So I'm assuming it was after his 10th bout vs Sterling Benjamin on Nov 01 of 1985, as Cus died Nov. 04.
So after only his 10th fight, back in 1985, he was getting paid 6 figure purses?
