Worst possuble matchup for Calzaghe, Joe probable wouldn't land a clean punch the whole fight, Toney KO in 10th round

Toney by very comfortable UD with both fighters having a shaky moment.

Depends which Toney showed up. I think James is the greater and more talented fighter, but he was dreadfully unpredictable. Hold a gun to my head and I'd have to pick Toney, then I'd pray that he didn't spend his entire training camp cutting weight.

Bad match-up for joe, that right hand would give him hell,Toney was a bit up and down with his peformances though so cant write calzaghe off completely as he was the last guy you would want to fight if you werent 100% prepared mentally and physically. That said,id favour toney to win a UD

Though I think Toney the greater fighter, I don't see this being easy for him. Even on a good night Calzaghe's hand speed, angles, footwork and high punch output are going to present him with problems. Then again, Toney's hard right counters and general elusiveness are always going to bother Calzaghe. I'll go for Toney by decision as he was a better fighter who beat better fighters, but if it's one of his bad days then Calzaghe wins.

if calzaghe tried to be the face first aggressor he'd get countered and smashed to pieces imo. if he kept his head and boxed he might outwork toney since jt doesn't like to chase his man down. but i'd still pick the best version of toney to ud the best calzaghe

Calzaghe wins an easy 12rd Decision in my opinion.

Joe's much faster, throws too many punches, also more mentally focused than Toney ever was.
