What are the top countries in the world who have produced The most top quality boxers? There is no doubt in my mind that America is top but where do the next couple of places go?

E.g.
1 - USA
2 - Mexico
3 - Cuba
4 - Puerto Rico
5 - UK

Strictly speaking, Puerto Rico is not a country --- however, for the purposes of this discussion, they should probably be in the mix as such. They have a proud & distinct cultural history in Boxing, & that probably should be recognised accordingly. The UK, on the other hand, cannot be categorised by any reasonable definition as one unit. You would have to split it up appropriately.

Mexico is, IMO, definitively second behind the US. You mentioned Cuba, who have a fine history in the sport.

One thing I think can be done is to level the playing field population wise by grouping Latin America as one as the US has a huge population advantage over any one Latin American country. Collectively Latin America has produced a stunning amount of great fighters. The only real question is how to group Puerto Rico since technically it's part of the US but is also considered Latin American.
