yea. had a mistake lookin at his record. was he good? considerin he has 21 ko in 28 fights and had only 3 lost.

He was a decent title holder, but just like every fighter fron Oxnard every time they fight a big puncher they get knocked like him, Vargas, Ortiz, Luevano. It will happen to Rios soon enough.

He had good skills. "Grandpa" as he was even called when he was a young, was good coming up. Though I thought he lost the bout with Derrick Gainer in 94(It was a boring bout in which Gainer ran).
As I said, Garcia had good boxing skills but after beating Harold Warren for the vacant title he was dropped in both his two successful title defences against Ledon and the respectful Molina. He was doing real good early against Corrales and even asked his corner between rounds if they wanted him to go for the knockout. If they knew Corrales better his corner would have told him no and instructed him to box because Diego Corrales would eventually catch and stop "Grandpa" to win his first title.
After that Gracia was through, perhaps his confidence but definately his chin would not hold up at the world class level after losing the title to Corrales.
