  • Is Monzon only guy to accomplish this?

Is Monzon only fighter to retire with 100 or more fights while defeating every opponent he ever faced? He did have three early defeats and avenged them all. SRR did have only one loss to Lamotta which he avenged after 100 fights, who are the other fighters to either retire by beating every opponent they ever faced or atleast getting to 100 fights with beating every opponent they face, will include avenging past defeats. Perhaps Pep is also on this list?

i thought about him, but wasen't show he had avenged his early losses?, too bad he died at that plane accident before he would have gotten a rematch with Lamotta.

in 1976 i attended a "Night of Boxing" with Mickey Duff & his son, they showed old 16mm reel footage of around 15 fights of Marcel Cerdan and believe me the guy was awesome, Cerdan could lift a fighter off his feet with blows from either hand. IMO LaMotta was very fortunate in that by wrestling Cerdan to the canvas in the opening round Cerdan damaged his shoulder.

Only boxer to retire with at least 100 bouts under his belt, who can claim to hold a win over EVERY opponent he ever faced... is Pedro Carrasco (111 fights).
