Morrison was one of the most excting heavyweights of the 90's, boxed rings around george foreman who a year later would become heavyweight champion of the world, morrison also knocked out heavyweight contenders james tills, carl wiiliams and razor ruddock, and knocked out former heavyweight champion pinklon thomas in a round, also the duke was WBO Heavyweight champion.

Morrison was a joke with a good manager/promoter and was made famous more by his role in Rocky 5 than anything else.

Morrision also beat Foreman by better scores than a prime Evander Holyfield did to.

Keep in mind that we're talking about the heavyweight champion of the world and he was knocked down 3 times in the opening round by a journeyman fighter, and all the while he is on steroids.
The man is a JOKE.

Yes he was an exciting fighter but he got sparked by Michael Bent who was nothing more than a journeyman, Morrison was very well matched during his career and would have been destroyed had he fought Bowe, Holyfield or Tyson within a round or two.

Tyrell Biggs was also a great amateur fighter, and while he was a decent heavyweight, he wasn't all that "great."
Amateur accomplishments are not relevant when talking about what a guy does as a pro.
Some great amateurs go on to do nothing in the pro's, and most go on to be nothing more than journeyman fighters, as was Michael Bentt.

Can't really say the guy was a joke, but he's not an all time great either. He was a very good puncher. Ray Mercer took some vicious punches from him before turning the tables. Morrison was also one of those guys who was at his best when he was very young. A bit like Tyson in that respect. He was a good, entertaining fighter, just short of the very best.
