Not surprised it's 15-0 in the voting.

Quarry was the more complete fighter, with the better ring record, & tops it all off with a smashing knockout of Shavers. No room for debate on this one.

It depends on the criteria. In terms of fame and financial success, as well as style, I'd pick Quarry. Going strictly on boxing records, statistics, and opposition, I'd put Quarry higher. In a VS match Quarry should go higher because he pwned Earnie in 1 round.

I see you voted for Shavers, though...?

Yeah, I voted for Earnie because he's more famous worldwide, and fought some of the all time classic fights, like against Ali and Holmes, and everybody lvoes a crushing KO puncher. But if I was to judge it strictly on boxing and nothing else Quarry. But sometiems I include superficial things in the rankings.

Um... Quarry fought in some classics as well

Fame shouldn't have anything to do with ranking a fighter. If it did, Tyson, Edwin Valero, and Luis Resto would be top 10 all-time.

Shavers and Quarry aren't in the top 10, though. I rank Earnie higher because I think he'll be remembered more. And for some slight sentimental purposes because Earnie was a good guy.

Unfortunately, Butterbean is probably more famous than some rather good fighters.

Yes, but unlike Quarry or Shavers Butterbean isn't really god. SO in my mind it's you have two good and skilled fighters, and the mroe famous one will probably be more fondly remembered.
