Hahahaha, nobody beating down your door to answer this one...

The answer is on film. It's what you make of Duran's small moves in lateral footwoork and his ability to weave in those punches off those moves and in the pockets. The question is simply, does is he good enough at this to win 8 of 15 rounds? Allow for the fact that Duran is fighting, for once, out of control of the pace of the fight. Answer that and you have your winner...not so easy though.

Armstrong's work-rate wins him a narrow decision in a fight which brings the house down.

I think Duran's offense would suffer under the weight of Armstrong's phenomenal output in ways a lot of people may not see coming.

Just on a gut feeling I favor Armstrong. I think that after a while, Duran would want to wrestle more and more while Armstrong would just want to punch and punch and punch.

I do not like taking sides in the match-up but, if pressed I would go with Manos.

Duran by decision in a close excellent fight. Duran was just a bad style matchup for Armstrong, who would be coming right at him...Duran feasted on guys like that his entire career.

Armstrong surely aint your average come forward fighter by any means, but I think Duran on top of having a style advantage was naturally larger and stronger. The only fighter that was able to outhustle Duran at close range was Hagler, and no offense to Armstrong, but he wasnt a middleweight Hagler.

Armstrong is on a whole different level from anyone Duran fought, including SRL in my opinion.

maybe p4p, but do you really think Armstrong would have beaten Leonard?
