    Shannon Briggs Chances Of Winning?

I think his got a much better chance then the fans and odds suggest. Not saying his going to win, but i think his got more in him then people think and he will show it on fight night.

I might even put some money on the interesting odds.

Do you guys think his got a REAL chance? or are you one of the many that think this won't even be a contest?

He does not look very conditioned at all.

I really don't see this fight being very competitive. Vitali always looks extremely well conditioned and in tip top shape.

Early KO. Briggs will not be able to last into the championship rounds.

He's looking in much better condition then I thought he'd be in, imo he will probably make the first 4 or so rounds competitive, Vitali's reflexes aren't what they used to be and Brigg's may be able to reach his chin, but even then I doubt he has it in him to put Vit down.

Of course he has a "chance", it's boxing, just not a very big chance, chances are Vit is going to control the tempo of the fight and there will likely be a late round KO.

Is Briggs allowed to take puffs on his inhaler between rounds?

The only case I can make for Briggs is that Vitali is old now and has always been injury prone. Vitali's historical rep would take a major hit if he blows this fight.

I believe he does have a chance for a variety of reasons. Him and Vitali are not far apart in size, hes very experienced with good skills, power, and hand speed. I doubt this fight will go the distance no matter who wins. Vitali should of course be favored but Briggs has a better chance than many other recent Vitali opponents.
If this were against Wlad, I'd thing Briggs would have a much better chance because of Wlad's suspect chin but alas...

You are right but I see why people come here to ask these questions. Especially when they want an honest unbiased answer. Things that are hard to find in the nsb.

Oh yeah, I give Briggs no chance and question how he got a title shot at all.

Wow, come on? Upsets do happen.......

I bet everyone one saying a blind Sam Langford dosen't have a chance against flowers.......Or that 42--1 underdog Buster Douglas didn't have a chance vs 37-0 Mike Tyson.

He probaly won't win,. but to say he has NO chance what so ever, is silly. Anything can happen in boxing......
