I think, as with all older great trainers, he's slowly losing his mind and instead of thinking he is just blurting out ****. The most moronic statement in that article, apart from the Duran stuff which is just bizarre, is that he thinks Manny is the one with all the pressure on him. As far as I can see, he has the same amount as usual.
Margarito however, far from being under none, is under much more. He has to try and convince the people of his worth again, he has to break free of the padding stigma, his brutal KO loss, looking **** in his last fight, trying to be Mexico's Manny beater and most importantly, trying to prove everyone that gives him not an inch of a chance wrong.
On the Duran thing though; what's really funny is that he says Duran had trouble with movers. When was the last time Pac fought someone like Ray Leonard? Hold on......he never has in his entire career, let alone beat someone like that.
Just a power puncher that wades in huh? Could have fooled me. What's also funny is that supposedly he has never ducked anyone. No. True, but he sure as hell has made sure to keep to a certain style of opponent. Manny's opponent choice is like a tiny little niche area to Duran's common masses. Hilarious.
