    Bob foster vs ATG LHWs

One of my sparring mates said bob foster would lose h2h against the other ATG light heavies. How do you think Foster would fare against the [other] light heavies on your ATG list?

PS: anyone know what his ring nickname was

His reach, timing, power, ring savvy, and killer instinct would give Foster a big chance against any 175 lb fighter ever. If you want to see him at his best watch his unification match against Vincente Rondon.

I'm not aware of any nickname that he was known by.

Your sparring mate knows his boxing. Foster's only got a shot against great Light Heavyweights with suspect chins and an inability to recover once dropped. And in those fights he loses damn near every round until the KO comes.

          Agreed.

I don't think he beats Charles, Tunney, Moore and Spinks, with Quawi being an even money fight.

Foster lost very few rounds in his career at 175. If you think he wasn't a very capable boxer as well as a one punch knock out artist, then you must have never seen him fight.
