Sorry, at LW even Mosley would kill Pacquiao. I wouldn't even mention him in the same sentence as Duran.

as ,uch as I love the kid, Manny, no chance. Think Morales 1 without Morales giving Pac the advantage by switching to southpaw later in the fight.

        Duran of course......

MAN.....at 135-140, DURAN was a machine. MANNY would do good against a lot of HALL OF FAMERS but DURAN is an ALL-TIME GREAT! Big difference there. He would eat MANNY'S "pacman" punches for breakfast and then break him down and stop him! You had to be able to effectively fight backwards to have any chance against DURAN. It would be a great fight until MANNY got stopped because his punches wouldn't have effected DURAN the way DURAN'S punches would hurt him. ADVANTAGE DURAN by K.O.

Roach himself said Pac loses this fight. I just dont see it any other way.

Could he? Probably, but Duran would be a heavy favorite.

No. Pac would be competitive, but Duran was too smart.

Duran was actually a kind of aggressive based counter puncher. Pacquiao had a large amount of trouble with Marquez, and Duran's counter right hand in particular was far better than Marquez's.
and Duran would have really put a hurting on Pacquiao on the inside, because
Pacquiao is not much of a rough infighter.

off the top of my head, I cant remember Duran fighting a southpaw at lightweight though, so that kind of throws me off.
He did fairly well with Hagler, but that certainly wasnt 135lbs.

Honestly I think Duran stops him, although it would have been some close rounds at first, with it getting less competitive as the fight goes on.

Leoncio Ortiz was a southpaw. He lasted until the 15th round, but took a beating all the way despite his best efforts to stay the distance.

Can't recall if he fought any other southpaws though.

Pacquiaos only chance of victory depends on what duran shows up. Because a focused duran beats pacquiao everytime. Thats not hatred either thats just a fact.
