        From recent times.

Lewis, Hamed and Calzaghe are all ATGs.

Welsh, Wilde, Lewis and Lewis. Calzaghe is an ATG, but of the second tier, so I left him out of the poll, but he's still up there with the best. I'm still undecided about where he should be. Great fighter either way.

            lewis, calzaghe, wilde

I gotta say calzaghe for me is teetering on the edge of being an ATG. It's close, maybe my italian bias is just too strong. 1 or 2 more good wins would've had him a solid ATG.

Tommy Farr should be on that list. He is the only HW that Prime Joe Louis could not KO....arguably beat a prime Joe Louis.

It's good to see Wilde and "Kid" Lewis are remembered as great fighters, though.
God knows why only seven people have picked Welsh? He is certainly one of the greats from the UK. McAvoy, brown and Turpin were all very good but not as good as the others I think and probably just sitting outside.

I think Welsh, Wilde, Lewis, Kid Lewis, and Calzaghe are the best from that list.

I'm surprised there isn't more love for Randy Turpin - the man beat a prime Sugar Ray Robinson and became the undisputed middleweight champion.

I'm not a fan of Calzaghe, but he was a greatly skilled fighter and deserves to be called an ATG. Jimmy Wilde was the greatest fighter to ever come out of the UK. Besides them I voted for Kid Lewis, Lennox Lewis, and Chris Eubank. I would have also voted for Nigel Benn if he had been on the list.
