    It's possible that Gatti will get in, but Ward won't. He just didn't end up doing enough despite his many great wars.

    I agree though. The boxing HOF is about the greats but also about who was popular enough to get in. Doesn't mean they were good or even provided great fights like Gatti, just that they had lots of people going berserk.

    Ricky Hatton anyone?

    McGuigan anyone?

    I don't know whether it's right. Maybe the fact that they did give so much to boxing and got so many people watching it is worthy enough....

      Papp's in isn't he? Pretty much on his amateur record so titles or even professional record isn't the be all and end all. I wouldn't mind betting a pound Ward gets in at some point.
