Thought and opinions on Galaxy, how good do you think he was ?, how great is his career ?.

In my opinion he seems to get very over rated by most, he held the title for so many years but ducked the best competition and champions while staying in the comfort of his own country against mostly un ranked challengers, he could of fought many decent boxers like Orlando Canizales, Raul Perez, Wilfredo Vasquez, Sung-kil Moon, Jiro Watanabe, Gilberto Roman among others.

How do you see his fights with them going ?.

THE RING has him several notches higher than tommy hearns... you agree with this?

a fight between him & vic darchinyan or johnny tapia would be a treat...

No, don't agree with that at all, sure Galaxy had what 19 defenses ?, but he was in a great era for Flyweights / Bantams and he never gave any of them a title shot / fight.

His resume doesn't pull through for him at all his best win is what, a way past it Orano ?, that's embarrassing considering the people he could of fought, Tommy Hearns over all beat much better opponents.

Although I will say that he was incredibly strong for his size, one of if not the best puncher for his weight class.

Galaxy never lost a championship fight and could punch like a mule.

Things were different back then though. His promoters basically kept him in Asia.

I think he would've given anyone hell had he ventured outside of Asia.

I've always been told that a lot of top fighters ducked him, not the other way around.

Personally, I found him incredibly boring to watch, but he did have tremendous power and was underrated defensively imo.

I know Watanabe avoided him which is why he was stripped of his title, not sure about the others.
