I haven't seen any Liles fights. But I know him and Calzaghe were both champs at the sametime. Ring had Liles and Calzaghe ranked #1 and #2. Liles also avenged his only defeat before he lost to Mitchell in a fight he was easly winning. How would a fight play out between him and Calzaghe?
Was there ever talks about the fight happening? Watch Joe's career set he seemed to want a fight with Charles Brewer when he first won the WBO. So he could unify the WBO and IBF Belts. Seems like Calzaghe would've got a really respected win if he fought Liles 98-99.
