    The best example of this to me was his last really good win over Billy Costello. despite coming out of retirement after the Pryor fight and being old and out of shape, he was able to KO the 3rd best fighter at 140lbs.
    he looked bad for the first three rounds, but after patiently walking Costello down he finally got him to the ropes and barraged him with punches, finishing the fight.

    Arguello had great timing and placement, and was a great finisher. one of the best offensive fighters of all time, in general.
