Fenech! His strength and rough style would take the decision. In respect to McCullough's countrymen, I give McGuigan a better chance here.

I agree with RINGG, I'd give McGuigan a better chance because of his strength. I don't think McCullough had the strength to keep up with Fenech, Fenech's turning and angles would've given him quite a lot of problems too. High workrate fight but I think Fenech is maybe a class above. Fenech by clear decision.

for my part, wayne was tough & durable and has a workrate that would somehow bother fenech...

but fenech's strength and slight advantage in power would tide him through a UD as it would be dificult for anyone @ 122 (even fenech) to KO sum1 like mccullough...

Fenech easily. Wins every round in a great fight nonetheless. Kind of like his fights with Mario Martinez or Daniel Zaragoza. I find it interesting how underrated Fenech has become over the years. Had great skill for the type of fighter he was and I suppose his last few fights killed his aura when he just didn't have anything.

Really though, he was the first four division, undefeated champion ever. Of course he got robbed instead by King and is only remembered as a three weight champ. It's incredible how much a robbery can ruin a fighter and change history. That win though (despite it being called a draw) was huge and there wasn't much else he could have done to win it apart from knocking Nelson out, which he still got close to doing.

Anyway (still bitter over that), Fenech wins easily. Too much skill and just a much better fighter.
