The Thrilla was an insane mass murder of their bodies. When i watched it for the first time i was surprised the Rope a Dope didnt work. But my buddy told me it was because fraier throws hooks to the side and around Ali's Arms.

I think Gans vs Nelson was a fight were i hurt watching it.

    My Order of fights goes
    Gans/Nelson's FoTC
    Ali/Frazier 1 FoTC
Hagler/Hearns- I couldn't sit down for ten minutes after this. I found it that exciting of a slug fest

this fight is mediocre, have watched it is boring, joe,is bobbing and weaving like a bobble head and ali is hitting him with light slap like jabs, joe would leap at ali and on occasion land a shot, then ali would clutch and grab, both of these men were out of shape, the fight was over hyped,

Pretty sure he meant the first Frazier/Ali fight and I agree. They were in much better shape, and that fight is arguably the end of fraziers prime..Ali was a little passed his already.

Yeah, rope a dope doesnt work against someone who picks their shots, and besides that frazier hit ali in the hips if no where else was available. Frazier wasnt no Foreman, if Ali would of tryed rope a dope the whole fight Frazier would of pounded him all 15.

The one better would be of the trilogy FOTC. Both were in better shape.

Where did you buy the 2nd fight?

The fight of the century was the greatest fight of all time.

Edit: I see there is confusion as to the FoTC. It's common knowledge that when somebody says "Fight of the century" they are referring to Ali/Frazier.

this was considered fight of the century way back,i dont know who even coined the term but there have been thousands of fights of the same century that are way better

Genuinely horrific posts in this thread.

Anyway, I would say that this is not even the greatest fight in this trilogy.

/facepalm of course, got confused and it was late.

Wouldn't say that this was the best, it's up there but there's a few fights I would personally rate above the Thrilla.
