You mean like the Soviet's fixed chess matches? There's a crapload of evidence for that.....yet no one has been able to come up with anything showing Ali was involved in a series of fixed fights. Only a bunch of whinging that the fights MUST have been fixed because the honest (LOL!) Soviets weren't involved. BTW, do you recognize the gentleman in my avatar? The fact that I actually KNOW who he is and have a photo of him is my bona fidis that I DO know quite a bit about what's historically gone on in chess and am well aware of the Soviets propensity to rig games and matches.

I find the in fight taunting hilarious, as I do his stunts with Howard Cosell and **** Cavett among others.
But he went to far with the name calling. This is a sport, not PR. I think he would have been hailed as the number 1/2 heavyweight regardless of the name calling, but the PR made him enjoyable to watch.
