You don't like watching Spinks ?
I loved watching Spinks fight, his style brought something special to an already great LHW era, was intriguing to watch some of the things he did.

    But anyway;
    Top 5:
    Dwight Qawi
    Carlos Monzon
    Rid**** Bowe
    Alexis Arguello
    Carmen Basilio
(Not many people will agree about Monzon but, like Spinks, I fount him intriguing to watch, cat like movements and he seemed so calm in the ring despite his persona)

    Bottom;
    Nikolay Valuev
    John Ruiz
    Sven Ottke

Spinks vs Holmes 1,2 as well as Spinks vs. Cooney and Holmes vs. Cooney put me into a temporary coma .
I am glad to be back and to share it , so others could beware .
Spinks' and Holmes' victories only revealed the extreme weakness of that era.
Remember that except of Holmes' loss to Spinks , his "win" over a deteriorated Norton was also far from impressing , not that I watched it entirely or have the time or guts to , and I know you or someone else will recommend me to.

Arguello ? I read someone said watching him fight is like watching paint dry. I think I know what hemeant now despite watching 0 fights of Arguello to this point.
Qawi is a good pick I considered too (to include) , but probably not in mt top 5 , although close. He is a fighter deserves watching by definition , I watched one of his fights with Saad , his fight with Leon Spinks , part of his fight with Michael Spinks and his losses to Foreman and Holyfield.

        Top 5:

        Matthew Saad Muhammad
        Ray Leonard
        Thomas Hearns
Michael Nunn (I was a big fan BITD)
        Mike Tyson/Erik Morales

        Bottom:
        Ottke
        Maske
        Valuev

I can in a way understand TS including Whitaker. He was highly skilled yes, but damn his fights was generally void of action.

Really? That man was a straight entertainer. Always flashy. It was amazing watching fighters throw 4-5 punch combo's and he's still duckin every last one of them! I thought he was very fun to watch.

          Fighters to watch(No order)
          1.Miguel Cotto
-Nothing but heart here folks. Always in wars, always in exciting fights. Nothing but heart, got to love his style.

          2. Mike Tyson
-His fights were unbelievable. Most boxing fights you expect to be long and can only hope you get your money's worth. But Tyson just went in there to straight kill folks back in the day. The most feared fighter of all time I think.

          3. Sugar Ray Robinson
-I don't know what it is, he wasn't the most exciting though definitely not boring but the more I look up and download of this guy, the more I fall in love with him more and more. I read that book "Sugar Ray" and loved it. He was a cool cat too, but beautiful to watch in the ring. So fast and so powerful.

          Fighters I can't stand watching
          1. John Ruiz
-Watch one fight other then the David Haye fight and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.Tua vs Ruiz though is one of my favorite all time fights though

          2. Joshua Clottey
-I loved the war with Cotto and the Margarito fight was decent but the main reason I can't stand him is that it pisses me off so much this cat has so much potential but wants hide behind his gloves. He probably should have knocked Cotto out. I understand Winky Wright who doesn't have much power and his defensive style is beautiful and works for him. BUt it's just ridiculous how Clottey has alot of power and messed Manny's face up with the ten punches he did throw and land but continues to just stand there like a brick wall hardly letting his hands go.

          3. I like boxing and love watching fights so I enjoy most fights. Their are some fights I dread watching but for the most part I can't really think of a third one just yet. Maybe Lennox Lewis? I mean he was exciting sometimes though but not always. And don't even start no Lennox debate O GOD PLEASE DON'T!!!!

Spinks' best fights to watch are at LHW, his fight with Yaqui Lopez is probably his most exciting.

Really ?, I thought Arguello was good to watch, great textbook boxer, decent power and he seemed to do everything right.
His fights with Pryor are my favourites.

its Top Quality Match-ups that i like watching.. i am not to bothered by the fighter its who the fighter is fighting that makes a great fight.. i was never a fan of Carl Froch yet i watched his fight with Pascal live` on TV and boy what a fight it was.. it was a great fight because both guys was evenly matched with the same ability... i never tune in the fights like Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski or Wlad vs Ibragimov because i feel they are not good `match-ups` not that Wlad or Vitali are not good fighters but because they are not fighting the right fighter... Both Wlad & Vitali need David Haye before they are worthy of topping the bill.

My favorite fighters to watch who are what i call "Value-for-Money" are
              Mike Tyson
              Bob Satterfield
              Gene Fullmer
              Juan Roldan
              Mike"Bounty"Hunter

                Love watching:

                Mike Tyson
                James Toney
                Floyd Mayweather
                Manny Pacquiao
                Matthew Saad Muhammad
                Sugar Ray Robinson
                Joe Louis

                Hate watching:

Vitali Klitschko (style is so ugly)
                Joe Calzaghe (refer to above)
                John Ruiz

                  1. Pacquiao: At his best, he is dynamite in the ring. So quick, such fast hands power, a solid chin and a warrior's heart. He's fun.
                  2. MAB: I love his crushing body attack and his demeanor. Mean as a cobra in the ring.
                  3. Marquez: Picture-perfect combinations and a tremendous heart.
                  4. Shane Mosley: It's his awesome speed, power and aggression. What always sticks out in my mind is the leaping left hook he throws at the end of the first DLH fight, he looks like a tiger pouncing or something. Vicious.
                  5. James Toney: So, so slick. His awesome skills are what do it for me. His ****-talk and taunting is just icing on the cake.

                  Bottom
I dislike most heavyweights who aren't the absolute most exciting (Holyfield, Tyson, Frazier, etc.), but Ruiz and Valuev stick out in my mind.

I love watching good defensive fighters, the counterpunchers. Wilfred Benitez may be my favorite, but I love watching Whitaker, Mayweather, etc. I also loved watching Ricardo Lopez.

I HATE watching aggressive, swarming fighters. Sorry, but "attack, attack, attack" isn't exciting for me.

I'm probably in the minority, but I want all fights to go the distance. Knockouts aren't that appealing to me. If I buy a ticket for a baseball game, I want to see the whole nine innings. Same thing for boxing.
