Frazier is one of my favorite fighters of all time, but his chin is really just average, not abysmal, but hes no Jake LaMotta for that regard either.

But the fact that he had such a huge heart, bobbing and weaving as he was coming in, the chin is a moot point. Go ahead knock him down six times in 2 rounds, he'll keep getting up.

there are arguments to support/oppose his chin. Some say Bonavena and foreman gave him trouble. But that was pre/post prime Frazier respectively. That doesnt change that his chin is average. He still an ATG with that average shin.
"You can't Knock out Joe Frazier, he'd rather have let you kill him in that ring before he lets you knock him out"- Big George Foreman.

Are you serious? He went 15 rounds with THEE Muhammad Ali? THEE most devestating puncher that ever lived?

Sheeeeeeeeeeeyiitt.....guy gots to have some lead in that mandible of his.

You're right about his "off day" with foreman, though. It's fairly common to see undisputed world champions get knocked to the ground SIX times in just TWO rounds.Especially when that "off day" happens to be the only puncher that you'd ever stepped in the ring with.

          Sure,happens all the time.

By the way,did you mention that he had fought Ali? Funny,I never,EVER see that name brought up everytime Frazier's name is mentioned.

Just goes to show how relevant Joe has remained in the public eye since retirement.
