Has anyone here seen this fight? It has to be one of my favourite fights of ALL time, the amount of slipping, rolling and blocking of punches in this fight was unreal.

I remember Toney saying that to prove himself he wanted to fight the best guys out there like McCallum, who had the WBA mw belt at the time. The wba would strip him because they wanted him to fight Collins again instead of Toney

Which made no sense since McCallum completely dominated him earlier in the year. Another ridiculous move by a crooked organization.

I think it might of been a case of we arent going to allow you to unify our belt with another organization, so we are going to strip you. Those guys are just as bad as the wbc especially now with all of their ridiculous super champ belts
